UFO Above Virgin Mary In 500-Year-Old Painting Hints At Extraterrestrial Intervention In Human History

A 536-year-old painting by an Italian artist compelled scientists to scratch their heads due to the unusual details found in it. Though there are numerous paintings created hundreds of years ago with unexplained objects, “The Annunciation, with Saint Emidius” grabbed the attention of ancient alien theorists who noticed an otherworldly object in the painting. This strange object can be easily noticed above the Virgin Mary.

12 weird discoveries in ancient paintings you won't believe

“The Annunciation, with Saint Emidus,” which was painted in 1486 by Italian artist Carlo Crivelli, shows the Virgin Mary shortly before she realizes that she will give birth to Jesus the savior. In the painting, the Virgin Mary is shown kneeling inside a room in the town of Ascoli Piceno, Italy. A very thin laser-like beam of glowing golden light intersects the painting, shining down and touching Mary on the head. The light originates from a vortex of swirling clouds that appears similar to a UFO hovering in the air.

The beam of light supposedly represents the Immaculate Conception, the moment that Mary became pregnant with the baby Jesus. Traditionally, the object is thought to be a heavenly halo. Traditional religious thinking assumes that this was divine intervention, but what if the object was not divine, but an intervention by extraterrestrials?

UFO and alien enthusiasts have interpreted the halo as a disc-shaped UFO. Their belief is that Jesus was not divine at all. Instead, it was the result of genetic engineering and the implanting of a child into the unsuspecting Immaculate Conception. Supposedly, she was abducted and impregnated by an alien race.

Rather than representing a beam of Holy light, the beam could be something else entirely. “They argue that the beam of light striking Mary while she is indoors is consistent with modern-day alien abductions. Many people who claim to have been abducted state that they were inside their homes when a strange light shone from outside the buildings.”

Dr. Jacques Vallée studied the nature of flying saucers very closely and noted that the phenomena have cropped up in many works of art during the 15th century and back to ancient times. Dr. Jacques Vallée is one of the few people who added credibility to Ufology. When others called the UFO encounters a hoax, Vallée explained it scientifically. During his interview in 1986, he said that UFOs are a “physical object that interacts with the environment that causes effects on the witnesses on the psychology and the physiology and leaves traces on the ground and yet is capable of appeared to be manipulating time and space in ways that go beyond what our physics understands.” (Click here to learn more about Jacques Vallée)

He co-authored a book, “Wonders in the Sky,” about early reports of UFOs going back to Biblical times. During his interview with HuffPost he said: “You cannot simply say that, because somebody saw something round in the sky in medieval times, it’s the same phenomenon that people see today. We are not making that statement. We’re simply describing what people saw and the phenomena associated with it as a contribution to the overall study of the history of the phenomenon.”

He pointed out how many people misinterpret unexplained objects seen in old paintings. “We don’t go into ideology. We’re not saying it’s proof of alien anything. We’re saying there is a phenomenon and it has some of the characteristics of the modern phenomenon, and we let it go at that. You still have to account for differential descriptions because of the changes in the cultures and the changes in the media, through which the data has arrived to us,” he added.

Another painting from the 15th century, “Madonna and Child with the Infant St. John,” is attributed to more than one artist and is located at the Palazzo Vecchio Museum in Florence, Italy. Mary, the mother of Jesus, is seen looking down while in the background, something unusual is taking place.

This fresco from 1350, located at the Visoki Decani Monastery in Kosovo, has two objects on either side of Jesus that seem to be controlled by pilots. Dennis Geronimus, associate professor of Italian Renaissance art and chair of the Department of Art History at New York University, says there’s an easy explanation for the piloted objects:

“As odd as the details in the upper left and right sections of the Kosovo fresco may seem to modern eyes, they, in fact, refer to something readily familiar: the sun and the moon. The strangeness, to our sensibilities, no doubt lies in the fact that the two celestial bodies are personified by two crouching figures that are shown as inhabiting them: producing a kind of ‘man in the moon’ effect,” he stated.

According to ancient astronaut theorists, Mary, the human mother if Jesus, was artificially inseminated with a fetus that contained alien DNA. They also claim that “Archangel Gabriel” was a real flesh-and-blood alien who conducted the procedure by convincing Mary that it was a dream and that he was a messenger of the Lord. If true, this would also make Mary one of the first alien abductees in recorded history.

Powerful Weapons Of Gods & Ancient Nuclear Blasts Happened In Mahabharata 12,000 Years Ago

Are the weapons like the Hydrogen bomb and the atomic bombs the invention of the 20th century? Probably no. Such technology may sound relatively new to modern humans, but ancient Hindu literature such as “Mahabharata” and “Ramayana” have evidence of lethal weapons used by gods on Earth tens of thousands of years ago.

As Dr. J. Robert Oppenheimer witnessed the first detonation of a nuclear weapon on July 16, 1945, a piece of Hindu scripture ran through his mind: “Now I have become Death, the destroyer of worlds”. It is, perhaps, the most well-known line from the Bhagavad-Gita, but also the most misunderstood one.

Evidence of Ancient Nuclear Wars - Weapons of the Gods

Furthermore, when a student asked Dr. Oppenheimer if the first nuclear device that went off was the one at Alamogordo during the Manhattan Project, he responded: “Well… yes. In modern times, yes, of course.”

Written in the Ramayana, an ancient Indian epic poem that narrates the struggle of the divine Prince Rama to rescue his wife Sita from the demon king Ravana, we find more interesting details which apparently also describe powerful ancient weapons: “(It was a weapon) so powerful that it could destroy the earth in an instant–
A great soaring sound in smoke and flames– And on it sits death…”

Pashupatastra — Weapon Of Lord Shiva

In ancient Hindu history, the Pashupatastra was the most destructive personal weapon of Shiva, Kali, and Adi Para Shakti discharged by the mind, the eyes, words, or a bow. This mighty weapon could destroy creation and vanquish all beings. In fact, many scholars agree that the Pashupatastra is the most powerful, destructive, and irresistible weapon of all other “Astras” (weapons) mentioned in Hindu scriptures. Mahabharata mentions that Arjuna took Pashupatastra from Lord Shiva, but never used it.

Brahmashirsha Astra — Projectile weapon

The Brahmashirsha Astra was a weapon that was said to be able to destroy the world. These weapons are all supposedly created by Lord Brahma. It was capable of summoning a shower of meteorites upon the enemy. The Mahabharata offers an excellent description of this mighty Astra:

“It blazes up with terrible flames within a huge sphere of fire. Numerous peals of thunder were heard, thousands of meteors fell and all living creatures became terrified with great dread. The entire sky seemed to be filled with noise and assumed a terrible aspect with flames of fire. The whole earth with her mountains and waters and trees trembled.”

Doesn’t that description sound like something that a modern-day nuclear weapon would do?

Furthermore, it is said that once the weapon is used, the area it was used upon will become destroyed, and nothing new could grow upon that land, not even a blade of grass for at least 12 years. It will not rain for 12 years in that area, and everything including metal and earth becomes poisoned.

Bramhastra is considered to be one of the most powerful supernatural weapons to have ever existed. Descriptions of this weapon suggest that this mighty weapon never missed its mark, and had to be used with a very specific intent against an army, as its target would be completely destroyed.

Another divine weapon that may supersede modern ballistic missiles is Indraastra. It transforms into many missiles capable of destroying an entire army. The Indraastra was the weapon of Indra, a Vedic deity in Hinduism. This weapon was invoked a number of times in the Mahabharata war.

Powerful weapons of Lord Vishnu

Then we have extremely powerful weapons by Lord Vishnu (Supreme being of all Hindu deities): Sudarshana Chakra & Narayanastra.

The Sudarshan Chakra is described as a powerful, spinning disk-like weapon. It has 108 serrated blades and has the ability to travel several million yojanas (1 Yojana = 8 km) in a blink of an eye. It is said that this weapon never missed its target.

The Narayanastra was another weapon used by Lord Vishnu in his other avatar. This weapon is described as firing a powerful tirade of millions of deadly missiles simultaneously. According to the Mahabharata, only Lord Krishna, Drona, and Aswathama possessed the Narayanastra. One of the most interesting details about this weapon is that it could only be used once in a war. If anyone tried using it two times, then it would destroy the user’s own army.

In a 2017 scientific study, Professor Jason Wright suggested that our planet and other celestial bodies in our solar system may have been inhabited in the distant past by Ancient Aliens. Professor Wright is an assistant professor of astrophysics and astronomy at the Pennsylvania State University.

He claimed that “technological” alien civilizations may have once lived on one of the planets in our solar system, and eventually disappeared without a trace. In his study entitled “Prior Indigenous Technological Species,” he suggested that extraterrestrial technosignatures might be extremely old, limiting the places they might still be found to beneath the surfaces of Mars and the Moon, or in the outer Solar System.

The recently launched Gailieo Project by Harvard professor Avi Loeb is aimed to search for such technosignatures to prove the existence of extraterrestrial civilization in our solar system as well as the universe. Unfortunately, due to years of erosion and tectonic movements, finding such relics would be difficult but Mohenjo-Daro is said to have been destroyed after the nuclear blast. If that’s the case, could it be destroyed by these weapons of gods?

Unsolved mystery: 25 years ago, hundreds of people reported seeing UFOs along Lake Michigan

DETROIT – The eerie lights filled the sky along nearly 200 miles of Lake Michigan shoreline

On March 8, 1994, calls flooded 911 to report strange sightings in the night sky. The reports came in from all walks of life — from police and a meteorologist to residents of Michigan's many beach resorts. Hundreds of people witnessed what many insisted were UFOs — unidentified flying objects.

Cindy Pravda, 63, of Grand Haven remembers that night in vivid detail — four lights in the sky that looked like "full moons" over the line of trees behind her horse pasture.

"I got UFOs in the backyard," she told a friend on the phone.

Today, the mystery remains unsolved, but it continues to fascinate extraterrestrial researchers, psychologists, and history buffs alike.

Pravda still believes the lights were UFOs.

"I watched them for half an hour. Where I'm facing them, the one on the far left moved off. It moved to the highway and then came back in the same position," Pravda told the Free Press on Thursday. "The one to the right was gone in the blink of an eye and then, eventually, everything disappeared quickly."

She still lives in the same house and continues to talk about that night.

"I'm known as the UFO lady of Grand Haven," Pravda said with a laugh.

Where it started

Daryl and Holly Graves and their son, Joey, told reporters in 1994 that they witnessed lights in the sky over Holland, Michigan at about 9:30 p.m. on March 8.

"I saw six lights out the window above the barn across the street," Joey Graves told the Free Press in 1994. "I got up and went to the sofa and looked up at the sky. They were red and white and moving."

Others gave similar accounts, including Holland Police Officer Jeff Velthouse and a meteorologist from the National Weather Service Office in Muskegon County. What's more, the meteorologist recorded unknown echoes on his radar at the same time Velthouse reported the lights.

"My guy looked at the radar and observed three echoes as the officer was describing the movement," Leo Grenier of the NWS office in Muskegon said in 1994. "The movement of the objects was rather erratic. The echoes were there about 15 minutes, drifting slowly south-southwest, kind of headed toward the Chicago side of the south end of Lake Michigan."

In 1995, The Free Press published the conversation between the National Weather Service and Velthouse.

"What do you think it is?" said the weather service radar operator.

Velthouse described witnesses seeing five to six objects, some cylindrical with blue, red, white, and green lights.

The radar operator said, "There were three and sometimes four blips, and they weren't planes. Planes show as pinpoints on the scope, these were the size of half a thumbnail. They were from 5 to 12,000 feet at times, moving all over the place. Three were moving toward Chicago. I never saw anything like it before, not even when I'm doing severe weather."

Hundreds of reports of suspected UFOs were called in not only to 911 dispatchers but also to the Mutual UFO Network's (MUFON) Michigan chapter.

MUFON, an all-volunteer nonprofit organization founded in 1969, bills itself as the "world's oldest and largest civilian UFO investigation and research organization."

In 1994, the network received UFO reports from Ludington south to the Indiana state line, spokeswoman Virginia Tilly told the Free Press in 1994.

"We're getting 10 or 15 new sightings a day," Tilly said. "We have probably 20 people in various stages of investigating these reports."

The reported UFO sightings were the largest since March 1966, Bill Konkolesky, Michigan state director of MUFON, told the Free Press this week.

"It was one of the big ones in the state. We haven't seen a large UFO (reported sighting) wave since that time," Konkolesky said.

Konkolesky joined the network in 1993. He was not part of the investigation team but still has a copy of an article about the sightings with a picture of the Graves family on the front cover.

MUFON interviewed dozens of witnesses, Konkolesky said, many of whom remain in contact with the organization.

"There was a lot of enthusiasm into the UFO field (then) because of the amount of press coverage. It was outstanding," he said. "They were paying attention to the phenomenon."

Konkolesky said the flying objects reported in 1994 are characterized as "unexplained" and the sightings remain a mystery.

Charles Wharry (Darkbird18):

This is my Ugly UFO Internet research because for so many years UFO/UAP has been seen as false and of people's imagination, also cover-up by the authority. That is why I call it "Ugly UFO Information" because something is happening in our skies and the people in charge are telling us we are seeing things and that it is swamp gas! The problem with all of this is that UFOs have been seen in human history for 1000s of years and as in the painting of the Virgin Mary 600 years ago, so is this swamp gas also?? Why are there so many of these ancient paintings that have UFO/UAP depicted within them? Simple people have been watching the sky for millions of years and they know when something in the sky that doesn't belong there!! This UFO research is just part of much online research on UFO/UAP events from all over the world on my Google blog.
